Fellow Shooters
Tuesday, March 29th, 2011We have some very interesting articles this month for you, and I hope you find something within your area of interest. By the way, if there is something you would like to see Sinclair or one of our suppliers write about (specifics or in general), drop an e-mail to our tech staff at support@sinclairintl.com.
We have a couple of articles from guest writers to the “Reloading Press.” The first, in which Eric Stecker at Berger Bullets talks about the development and history of the Berger VLD Hunting Bullets followed by the first of a two-part article on 50 BMG Shooting by James Patterson. You can see the second half of James’s article in the next issue of the “Reloading Press,” or check our blog in a few weeks and it should be in there. One of our techs, Phil, put down his thoughts on pre-season maintenance and tune-up on rifles for the upcoming season. I think I probably should re-read Phil’s article and take some action on much of what’s in there. A couple other of our reloading technicians put down their thoughts on how to help customers understand the use of the Sinclair Seating Depth Tool and Reloading for 3-Gun, part one of a 3-part series.
A couple of other interesting articles that we didn’t have room for in the Sinclair “Reloading Press” can be found on our blog. One is on our recent exploits at the IWA Show in Nuremberg, Germany a couple of weeks ago. We had an outstanding time over there meeting all the Sinclair International customers. We may all speak a different language but we all understand and love shooting. The other article is an update on one of our formerly sponsored junior shooters who now is a member of the U.S. Armed Forces.
We are still seeing a lot of new shooters getting into reloading and are still recovering from our backlog on some Sinclair products and some other brand’s tools and components. We are working as fast as humanly possible and hope to be caught up shortly. We hope that hasn’t inconvenienced too many of you.
Look forward to seeing many of you at the upcoming NRA Show in Pittsburgh, PA. We will probably write again just before that show kicks off in late-April. Hope to see you there; it’s certainly worth the drive if you haven’t been to one.
Good Shooting,
Bill Gravatt
