Thanksgiving is a great time to reunite with family and friends, and it also provides a great opportunity to introduce somebody to our sport. If you get a chance over the long holiday weekend, take somebody who hasn’t been exposed to firearms out to the range and let them try a variety of guns. It’s quite rewarding to share something you’re passionate about, and a little trigger time often converts a new member to our shooting fraternity. If you can’t get out and shoot, show them the basics of reloading – and how easy it is to build your own ammunition following safe operating procedures.

Avoid the crowds on Black Friday, hop on the computer Thursday and all through the weekend to visit the Sinclair website (www.sinclairintl.com) and take advantage of our many specials and deals. We’ve already sent out some “early bird” announcements on a few of our specials, including some hot deals we teamed up with Hornady to offer. Our customer service team and technicians will be manning the phones on Friday to handle any of your questions, and our warehouse teams will be ready to get your order out ASAP!

As I mentioned last month, the printed version of our Christmas catalog was mailed out at the end of October/early November. We are following up with an electronic version of the catalog to reach those customers who may not have received the paper version. This will include our fellow international shooters and, we hope, many of our men and women serving in our armed forces throughout the world. We’ve put together fantastic specials on some of our most popular reloading gear (the good stuff!) and components. A good portion of our country is heading into cold weather, so now’s the time to stock up on supplies and get caught up on reloading projects over the winter. Not to forget those of you living in warmer climates, we also included sales on shooting accessories, such as Sinclair bipods, cleaning tools and supplies, and optic accessories.

As we enjoy the Thanksgiving weekend, let’s turn our thoughts and prayers to those men and women in our military who are protecting our freedom and the freedoms of others. We are so grateful for their commitment and sacrifice so we can enjoy our way of life.
